What Would Happen In Canada?
If you haven’t read it yet, the Saudi security forces, according to the Saudi Interior Ministry, have killed 5 suspected terrorists that were allegedly involved in the attempt to blow up Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery last week. Police said they confiscated weapons and ammunition from the house in the suburb where the suspects had been holed up.

One of the things that was said by the spokesperson for the Saudi Interior Ministry was:
“We think all the men involved had something to do with Abqaiq attempt,” al-Turki said, referring to Friday’s attempt by suicide bombers to detonate car bombs inside the world’s biggest oil stabilization plant.
Could you imagine if the police said something like that after a shootout with someone, or a group, here in Canada?

In Canada, that'd be obscene. But they play by different rules in Saudi.
Not like I'm going to blow up any oil refineries, but it's things like this that make me very VERY glad that I live in North America.
