After a 7 game losing streak the OILERS WIN!! 5-3, in Dallas where they have won only twice in the last 18 tries. It can only get better from here. They are off to Nashville now. One more win and the 7 game losing streak is forgotten. Oh how fickle us fans are :-)

Way to go Brian Diesbourg who kicked a 50 yard field goal to win $1,000,000. Wendy's, the sponsor of the contest, should be embarrassed the way they handled this contest. First, after he won the contest just to kick the field goal, he had to sign a contract that he couldn't kick a football until the day before the game and, he only had one 30 minute practise session with the Toronto Argonauts kicker, timed by an insurance company. He will get the money in 40 yearly instalments of $25,000. What a farce. I was very glad to see that kick go through the up-rights. Again, way to go Brian, and a big raspberry to Wendy's.
