Home Depot and the Maytag Repair Man

There is a new Home Depot opening up in Spruce Grove. One of my friends, Marc Benard works there. We were invited to the Family and Friends evening at the new store last night. This Home Depot is one of the first "smaller" Home Depots where they don't have everything the big stores have but can get it usually the next day. Well...it was packed. It is definitely smaller. There was a 10% off everything in the store special for all guests. We went in to get three things. Metal roofing for our sun room, plastic for our pond as it has a hole and is now empty, and some eaves trough to reroute some of the run off. They didn't have any metal roofing, pond grade plastic, but they did have the eaves trough...except in the wrong colour. So we were batting 0. However, as we walked around Dawn noticed the washing machines and in particular the front load machines. Ours is about 17 years and it broke down last year and I "fixed" it. But it just doesn't seem to be getting the clothes as clean as it used to, sometimes it leaves soap stains, and it definitely leaves lint. I am so tired of brushing off lint! Anyway, we bought a Maytag Neptune model MAH5500B for 10% off plus I think there was an additional 10% off due to a sale that Maytag has with Home Depot. It arrives July 25 and I can assure you the whole family will be happy to see it come. Remember all you husbands...happy wife, happy life!!
