18th Anniversary
July 19th was our 18th anniversary. It was also our oldest daughter's 14th birthday. We didn't do much yesterday as we went out on Friday for a dinner/shopping/desert evening. But Dawn made a good meal and desert and for that we all ate heartily.
So what have we accomplished in those 18 years. Well...we have four wonderful children!! Dawn wanted 6, I compromised at 2, and we have 4. But those extra two bring a lot of joy. We now have two dogs, and three cats. We have a place we all like...except for the size of the house but we manage. A little while ago someone came up with an acronym...

Income (...except now Dawn has a part time job as a tour guide in a honey factory)

Yup...pretty much says it all.

Congratulations to both of you - it's quite an achievement, these days, to make it out of the firt 5 years, let alone to get to 18! Sounds like you took some time to enjoy and appreciate one another around the anniversary, which is great. We hit 18 this year too!
There were some who never thought we would make it. Not to say the last 18 years were perfect but somehow we managed to make it work. We've done the "impossible" through thick and thin. In fact we have done pretty good considering our backgrounds.
