First the tariff on US imports and now Canada is sending beef to Cuba. I bet 'Dubya is not liking this much!! :-) Playing nice with the Cubans must make the US dislike us even more. At least we have some movement of beef. But really you can't blame the US government on the border closure this time. It was R-CALF that managed to get some judge to block the movement of cattle accross the border. The Cuba agreement is just the start of something good...I hope!! The cattle industry has taken a beating. I hope things can get back to some normalcy so the farmers can get a fair price for their efforts.
